The Chinese technology titan Huawei is looking to release the follow up to it’s successful P20 series from last year, and the P30 will be debuting on March 26th, 2019. The company recently tweeted an ad that we can safely assume show off features unique to the P30. Considering how much a success the P20 was, we expect nothing less from the P30. Most importantly, what set of features does the P30 bring that its predecessor left room for improvement? Let’s take a look into what the upcoming flagship phone brings for it’s audience.
What’s so great about it?
In addition to the standard hardware improvements that you’ve come to expect from a next generation phone, the P30 makes a stride in camera improvements. The camera system consists of a quad array of cameras to achieve. Consequently, this allows higher levels of zoom with much improved clarity. As shown above, Huawei’s tweet demonstrates how the P30 achieves the coveted 10x zoom using a periscope-style capture. The hints and teases only give us a glimpse of what this technology can really do. As shown in a report from Android Central, the zoom is not the only feature that the camera boasts. The low light performance is rumored to be on par with the Google Pixel 3.
In conclusion, what the P30 aims to bring to the table will improve the standard for what comes with smartphones. With the overwhelmingly good reception that the P20 has gotten, the hype around the P30 to us is appropriate. Above all, it delivers on the common qualities a flagship phone should deliver on, and March 26th will only give us more insight into what it can do. Based on what we know thus far particularly about the camera, those with the P30 will make their peers suffer from FOMO (fear of missing out). Regardless if this is the phone you were waiting for or not, we hope it gives you insight into what you do like!
